Olivia Onesti and Felipe Orts won at the Elorrioko Basqueland cyclo cross races

The women’s podium was completed by Lucía González and Amelie Laquebe

The young 18 y/o Olivia Onesti (Star Casino), keeps on surprising and achieving her 4th victory as a professional winnig at the Elorrioko Basqueland held this week. The french cyclist, that will become a road rider for Cofidis in a few days, got 1:33” over the spanish champion Lucía González (Nesta MMR) in the finish line and 2:21” over her compatriot Amelie Laquebe.

New Felipe Orts victory after his 15th position at the Boom mud party

The spanish champion Felipe Orts (Burgos BH) dominated the hard Elorrioko cyclo cross circuit from the star, winning with an advantage of more than two minutes over the dutch riders David Van Der Poel (Alpecin Fenix) and Luke Verbug.

The calendar continues without rest for Felipe Orts with the dispute this weekend of the international tests of Xátiva (saturday) and Valencia (sunday). The Alacant cyclist will look for the triumphs that would certify a great week in Spain before returning to his commitments in Belgium and the Netherlands during Christmas and the beginning of 2022.
