Epic Series presents the calendar for its 9 MTB stage races

The organization assumes 46 racing days all over the planet with two new competitions in Wales and Croatia

Epic Series Global MTB has presented its 2022 calendar adding two more races to its working plan: Cymru in Wales and 4Islands in Croatia. These races, self defined as “the most exhilarating, rewarding, and spectacular MTB stage races on the planet“, use to be attended by the top world’s elite MTB riders and its routes include world-famous trails always seasoned with new surprising proposals at heavenly landscapes.

So the calendar has been confirmed as it follows:

Absa Cape Epic | 20 – 27 March 2022 | South Africa 

4Islands MTB Croatia | 19 – 23 April 2022 | Croatia

Port to Port | 19 – 22 May 2022 | Australia

Cymru MTB Classic | 17 – 19 June 2022 | Wales

Andorra MTB Classic | 29 June – 2 July 2022 | Andorra

Swiss Epic | 16 – 20 August 2022 | Graubünden, Switzerland

Reef to Reef | 18 – 21 August 2022 | Australia

Cape to Cape | 20 – 23 October 2022 | Australia

FNB Wines2Whales | 28 October – 6 November 2022 | South Africa

The first big appointment at the Absa Cape Epic

The Absa Cape Epic is the world’s premier mountain bike stage race. 2022 presents riders with a gruelling route from Lourensford Wine Estate to Elandskloof, Greyton, to Stellenbosch, and finally on to the Grand Finale which culminates at Val de Vie Estate, eight days and 657 kilometres of unspoilt scenery and up 16.000m of vertical ascent later. The route changes every year and bring together amateur and professional mountain bikers from all the world around. The Absa Cape Epic is the most televised mountain bike race in the world and a highlight on the professional racer’s calendar.
