Marta Bastianelli, who announced her retirement at the end of this season just after the finish line, was the first winner at the european UCI calendar giving the victory to UAE ADQ (former Alé BTC Ljubljana).

The bunch didn´t let grow any of the breakaway attempts along the day in a very fast race with some crashes at the end, but happily without important consequences.

Barbara Guarishi was the thrid one crossing the finish line but she was relegated to the position 35th, the last one of the first group, for changing her trajectory crossing the Chiara Consonni’s way, who finally felt carrying Silvia Zanardi to the asphalt with her.

So the ex champion of the world gave the first victory to her team in its new colors being the fastest of the peloton “without being a real sprinter“, as she declared before steping up to the podium with Ilaria Sangineti and Kathrin Schweinberger.
