Both riders step up from LUX Cycling to the World Tour category to develop their talent at least till 2023
Rally Cycling women’s team keeps on empowering an adding couples of young talents to its roster for the next season: 18 y/o Makayla McPherson (California) and Kaia Schmid (Massachussets) will be in the team next year. McPherson is the current US junior champion while Schmid won this year the US title at three junior track disciplines and the world one at elimination, althought she defines herself as a climber too. They’ve been racing together since they were 11 years old.
Another announcement of the Rally Cycling has been the Chad Haga’s return to his first professional team eight years after, from the german team DSM where he has raced for five seasons.
“I’ve spent eight years as a support rider in the DSM organization, but I want to enjoy racing as much as I did at the beginning of my career,” Haga explains. “I think this is a great way to kick that off because I’ve watched Rally Cycling race really aggressively for the last few seasons with a lot of success and I’m eager to be a part of that.”
